The DD215: Applied Intelligent Building Design course is an intensive, hands-on course focused on the design of structured cabling systems within intelligent buildings. Offering hands-on skill-building activities from day one, this course instructs you in real-world tasks, preparing you for design roles outside of the classroom. Assignments from the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM), 15th edition, augment your learning, allowing you to prepare questions for the classroom.

What Are the Prerequisites and Preparation Required?

DD215 is designed for those who have a minimum of two years of experience in ICT design and/or construction. If you do not meet the experience requirements, BICSI strongly recommends that you complete the Introduction to ICT Design online course prior to enrolling in DD215.

Course Fee

  • BICSI Member: US$2,700.00

  • Non-Member: US$2,850.00

Course Materials 

Students must purchase the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual v15.

- Print & Digital: US$600.00 (Including of delivery) 

- Digital Only: US$420.00.

Can I Earn Credit?

You will earn 37 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for successfully completing the program.

What is the Attendance Policy?

Participation in all originally scheduled days of the program is mandatory in order to receive the certificate of completion and 33 CECs. Participants who fulfil the attendance requirement will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the program. 

*Please note that this is not the RCDD Certification, which requires a special exam application.
